Available Volunteer Positions
Hike San Diego is comprised of people who love the outdoors and who want to create positive impact in their communities. The organization is growing and we are looking for additional volunteers to help us move our mission and vision forward. If you would like to help but do not see a position that matches your skill set or one that is outside your available time commitment, please send us an email so we can chat. Important note: all positions are unpaid, volunteer positions.
Volunteer Coordinator
Time commitment: 2-4 hours per week
The Volunteer Coordinator will develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the organization. The coordinator will also identify community outreach opportunities such as education fairs, festivals, local markets and organizations, and other community events. Evaluate all aspects of volunteer programs to ensure effectiveness and to recommend/implement changes as appropriate.
